Register your Physical BBQ
Make sure to set a date and register your BBQ through our website. We’ll need a few details from you, including your name, email, phone number, and address. If you’re hosting a BBQ on behalf of an organisation, please provide organisational details as well.
After registering, you’ll receive an information packet from our team with resources to help you ensure your BBQ is a success!

Invite your Guests
Use our Great Outback BBQ invitation template to invite your friends, family, and network to come along to your BBQ. If someone can’t make it, ask them to donate to your fundraising page instead!

Promote your BBQ
Use the hashtag #GreatOutbackBBQ to spread the word on social media and make sure to share your fundraising page with friends to let them know why you’re hosting a BBQ, and how they can help!
You can even update your Facebook profile to a Great Outback BBQ theme to show your support for our Aussie farmers. Don’t forget to create media buzz about your BBQ by contacting your local paper – simply fill out the press release template in your welcome pack and send it to your local media outlet.

Put the Fun in Fundraise
Everyone loves a BBQ, and a Great Outback BBQ is a great way to come together with friends and family for a great cause. On the day of your event, make sure to use your collection box provided in your welcome kit to collect donations from your guests.
